Winter sessions are sometimes a little chilly but these two didn’t mind!! We went out to Ian and Alora’s home on the river to capture these sweet little moments where in early September they will be marrying. These two sure didn’t have a hard time snuggling up to keep warm, and boy was it worth it for that beautiful light!

Meeting for the first time ever in the Winnipeg air port, I knew instantly this destination wedding was going to be a great one! The celebration started the moment we all sat down on the plane really.. but I do remember stopping a couple times on the bus for a couple wine runs, these people were so EXCITED to be all together on vacation… and I don’t blame em!! With an army of 43 Les and Nicole pulled up to the resort and quickly everyone scattered to find their rooms.
When the day finally came, there was a calm and peaceful mood in the air. The ladies were sat around a table having breakfast overlooking the Caribbean sea and out of the corner of my eye I saw a friend of the grooms bust in with 20+ balloons, quick to not be seen be Nicole. Once hung around the room Nicole smiling ear to ear came into the room and opened every single hand written love note from Les. It was probably one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever seen!
After hair and makeup we quickly snuck down to the lobby to snap some shots before the ceremony. I then snuck over to the grooms room to do some detail shots and drop off a surprise from Nicole and then we proceeded to the lobby to do some of the grooms side.
It was 4pm and right on time Nicole walked down the isle to meet her soon to be husband. With a quick 20 minute ceremony these two were wed and we then had 20minutes until the sun completely set to take some couples shots.

Looking back it’s hard to believe that it was November when Craig and Laura shared their wedding vows!! With the blessings of El Nino we were able to capture so many great shots without actually freezing to death! Dressed in their cozy little sweaters and scarves these ladies sure knew what they were doing as soon as the camera came out! Craig and Laura’s love for one another absolutely beamed when we had some alone time to photograph some bride and groom portraits. Their comfort in one another arms was so beautiful to photograph. Stunning and heartfelt, from start to finish the touching little details throughout the day made this wedding one ill never forget!

Ashley and Kory said I do at the beautiful Links Golf Course event space in Spruce Grove, Ab. On the sunniest and warmest day I have ever seen in October, we cruised around the golf course in our little golf carts to find the perfect locations for some dreamy hazy lighting! Whose idea it was to give this girl her own golf cart… that I do not know… but much to my own surprise, I did not run anything over!! Below are some of my favourite shots from their wedding day! Logan and Jessica’s wedding was a hoot! These two had a love so great it left me breathless. Leaving their wedding I caught myself with the biggest grin on my face, it was definitely a day I will never forget! I wasn’t sure just how many times I cried or laughed so hard I nearly peed my pants at this wedding…. but for anyone who was there, I am sure they can relate!!– (yes I just admitted I nearly peed my pants laughing so hard). I think I got my point across.
This family and the people who surrounded them that day made me absolutely LOVE my job even more than I already do!
