Meeting for the first time ever in the Winnipeg air port, I knew instantly this destination wedding was going to be a great one! The celebration started the moment we all sat down on the plane really.. but I do remember stopping a couple times on the bus for a couple wine runs, these people were so EXCITED to be all together on vacation… and I don’t blame em!! With an army of 43 Les and Nicole pulled up to the resort and quickly everyone scattered to find their rooms.
When the day finally came, there was a calm and peaceful mood in the air. The ladies were sat around a table having breakfast overlooking the Caribbean sea and out of the corner of my eye I saw a friend of the grooms bust in with 20+ balloons, quick to not be seen be Nicole. Once hung around the room Nicole smiling ear to ear came into the room and opened every single hand written love note from Les. It was probably one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever seen!
After hair and makeup we quickly snuck down to the lobby to snap some shots before the ceremony. I then snuck over to the grooms room to do some detail shots and drop off a surprise from Nicole and then we proceeded to the lobby to do some of the grooms side.
It was 4pm and right on time Nicole walked down the isle to meet her soon to be husband. With a quick 20 minute ceremony these two were wed and we then had 20minutes until the sun completely set to take some couples shots.
